About Me
My name is Ryan Maxwell. I graduated from Castle High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Southern Indiana in December 2025. I tutored at USI for two and a half years in Math, Physics, and Economics.
During that time, I found real success helping students understand difficult material. Many of the strategies I developed while teaching myself translated well into tutoring. I learned how to identify what each student needed and how to adjust my approach. Some students benefit most from steady practice and spaced repetition. Others simply need a clear explanation or a small mathematical trick to get unstuck.
My Approach
I offer a free consultation because some students only need a quick explanation or guidance toward the right resources. Others require more focused support, especially when gaps in earlier material are causing confusion with current topics. That extra time allows me to pinpoint those gaps and build a plan to help them reach their goals.
